Camp Around the World
Campers will experience three cultures and their customs while learning about Christ’s love for everyone. Come get a taste of international games, crafts, songs, and snacks.
Pioneer Camp
Pioneer campers will learn basic life and spiritual survival skills. Activities include fishing, archery, BB gun range, campfire cooking, and pioneer themed crafts.
Little Tykes Camp
“Dia Duit” Campers! (which is the Irish way to say “Hello” and means “God be with you”!) During this junior, half-day camp, kids will travel to the Emerald Isle, enjoying camp songs, Bible lessons, crafts, yummy snacks and fun-filled games.
Kids Day Camp
At Kids Day Camp this year, campers will be journeying to the lush green meadows of Ireland to learn all about our Good Shepherd and Psalm 23. Campers will enjoy camp songs, missionary stories, Bible lessons, fun crafts, snacks and games. They will know what it means to go from Lost to Found, Wrong Path to Right, Fearful to Peaceful, Grumbling to Grateful, and Shaky to Sure.
PLEASE NOTE FOR ALL CAMPS:
- Campers should bring a labeled water bottle and packed lunch daily.
- Apply sunscreen and bug repellent each morning to avoid sunburn and insect bites.
- It is recommended that campers wear socks and sneakers each day. No flip-flops or sandals, please. Wear clothes that you don’t mind if they get dirty.
- Drop-off any medication or medical equipment with registration staff.
- The pick up number assigned to the camper on the first day of camp is REQUIRED to be shown to your camper’s team leaders/registration staff each day when the camper is picked up.
- Teams are assigned based on age/grade level. Even if a child is not on the same team as their friend, they may still travel to the stations together at the same time. It is difficult to honor everyone’s requests with the volume of campers we minister to. Thank you for understanding! Your child may even make a new friend!
- We have limited resources to provide one-one-one care for special needs situations. Please communicate with our Director of Camp Administration, Allison Bowsher, if you feel your child has limitations that need to be addressed.
- If the weather forecast shows an entire day of heavy rain, we may attempt to hold camp indoors. It is also possible camp may be canceled that day. Lightning and/or thunder will warrant the children being transported to Fellowship Bible Church for indoor activities. Please contact the church office if you have any questions at 304-728-3700. Camp updates regarding weather will be texted to the phone number provided at registration.
- Please leave electronic devices at home, including cell phones. A phone will be available for children needing to call home.
